Holmes and Watson are brought to life by Julian Finnigan and Dominic Goodwin as they re-enact one of the detective's most baffling unrecorded cases - The Case of the Prime Minister, the Floozie and the Lummock Rock Lighthouse! It's an affair upon whose outcome the security of Europe once hung by a thread, and shrouded in secrecy until now. The case has finally been approved by the government for public disclosure. It is understood that Mr Holmes has been entrusted by Her Majesty with the conveyance to the Tower of London of the fabled Satsuma Stone, stolen from the crown of William of Orange in the seventeenth century, and only recently discovered in Europe. One can only be thankful that Professor James Moriarty, the Napoleon of crime, fell to his death at the Reichenbach Falls. Or is he still alive, planning another deadly strike as he lurks, unseen, in the wings...?
Written by Stuart Fortey, Directed by David Robertson it's fast paced entertainment and will provide many a titter! This is your final chance to catch Holmes and Watson as they embark on their farewell tour. Don't miss them. It's elementary!!
Pyramus and Thisbe Productions have been asked to bring the show back for a new tour after finishing in 2017. 2020 and most of 2021 were lost to Covid and we agreed that when we come out of it, the need to laugh will never have been greater. Holmes and Watson: The Farewell Tour should provide you with that laugh!
“Julian Finnigan and Dominic Goodwin respectively as Holmes and Watson give an outstanding performance. Finnigan excels as the straight man Holmes whilst Goodwin’s Watson is sheer comic excellence. A truly magnificent production guided through the hands of two masters of comedy on stage.” Broadway Baby
“This two-man little gem is totally and delightfully, utterly bonkers... This little production is so funny it should come with a Government health warning.” Northern Echo

For One Night Only
by Stuart Fortey
Touring 2023/2024
Thrill with excitement as Sherlock Holmes and his landlady Mrs Hudson reconstruct for your entertainment The Case of the Frivolous Vicars! Try and deduce who killed Constance McMerryweather in the vicarage garden with a quoits spike! Ask yourself what, if anything, has Aladdin to do with it? (Quite a lot, actually!)
Deprived of his usual sidekick Dr Watson, Sherlock teams up with Mrs Hudson, who proves more than equal to the task in hand. But what exactly is her relationship with Holmes? And is it for One Night Only?
A smorgasbord of foreign languages, coded poems, ballet and opera; HOLMES & MRS HUDSON is pure fun and silliness from beginning to end!
